Language skills are in high demand in a globalized world! Your child has the opportunity to attend classes with a focus on English-language teaching from the first year of elementary school up to the Matura (leaving certificate).

Our Schools

Since the school year 2022/23, a multi-grade class has been taught in English. With the exception of the daily German lesson, all other lessons are taught in English. Therefore, the prerequisite for attending this “English class” is a command of English at native speaker level.

Since 2017, the Europagymnasium has been running so called Europe-classes with English as a working language (EAA), in which English is offered as a language of instruction in at least two other subjects in addition to the regular English lessons.

Project week

Every year, all English teachers organize an English Project Week for the EAA (English as a working language) classes in the lower grades, which is dedicated entirely to the English language.
